After our gathering at Plaza del Pilar, attendees immersed themselves in a Cultural and Gastronomic Tour through the heart of Zaragoza.
The tour began with learning about the history of the plaza, continuing toward the Roman walls and the statue of Caesar Augustus, where we discovered the origin of our city’s name.
The gastronomic stops:
🍽️ Montal (Plaza San Felipe) – Welcome at a wine cellar with an artichoke heart tapa
🍽️ El Corral de Delfina (Plaza España) – A beer with the iconic “Guardia Civil” tapa
🍽️ Mercado Puerta Cinegia (Plaza de España) – Tasting of traditional rice accompanied by wine
Between stops, we explored the narrow streets of El Tubo, the emblematic neighborhood of bars and restaurants that pulses with Zaragoza life.
It was a complete multisensory experience: history, architecture, and authentic local gastronomy came together to show our national and international guests why we are proud of our roots.
