Spain is where SIMEZA began, and where every design decision still gets tested first. Not in theory, but in installations that operate in the same climate, same soil, and same agricultural reality as the team that built them.
The Binéfar installation in Huesca tells part of that story: 60.000 tM of wheat storage capacity, delivered in Aragón, the same region SIMEZA has manufactured in since 1975. Twelve flat-bottom silos and four hopper-bottom silos, engineered for a high-throughput agricultural operation in Spain’s primary cereal-producing belt.
The home market is where the engineering is closest to the engineers, where feedback from operators reaches the drawing table fastest, and where the relationship between manufacturer and client runs deepest.
Fifty years of Spanish installations have shaped how SIMEZA approaches every project since. From Utebo, we’ve built on five continents. But the standard was set here first.
