Inside the DACSA plant. The video behind SIMEZA’s sealed rice storage.

Watch how we engineer rice storage differently.

Our new video takes you inside the @[Dacsa](urn:li:organization:9463260) plant in Sagunto, Spain, one of SIMEZA’s Mediterranean rice installations, built for a market that runs on high rotation and zero tolerance for spoiled grain.

Rice isn’t wheat. Its bran layer absorbs moisture and odour faster, so a standard fumigation system built for wheat or corn isn’t tight enough. At DACSA, we sealed the two leak points every rice plant fights: the roof gore joints and the roof-cylinder junction, and fitted electronic shut-off valves on the roof extractor brackets.

Sealing a plant properly for rice’s own chemistry is a solvable engineering problem, not a compromise operators should have to live with.

This is 360 Degrees Solutions on the ground: silo selection and fumigation engineering delivered as one project.
