SIMEZA Silos’s facility has spent 50 years engineering storage systems for conditions ranging from Middle Eastern heat to Scandinavian snow loads.
That expertise didn’t arrive quickly, and SIMEZA Silos doesn’t intend to stand still; the company keeps investing in R&D and new developments, backed by Tornum Group’s shared engineering resources.
Steel silo design has a direct sustainability dimension. Durable, corrosion-resistant structures that protect stored grain for decades reduce both post-harvest loss and the need for premature replacement. That’s a quieter form of sustainability than headline-grabbing innovation claims, but it’s the one that matters most to a farmer or terminal operator making a capital decision that has to last a generation.
Customer support follows the same logic: manufacturing depth in Spain, Sweden, and Finland means local support and spare parts in more markets than SIMEZA Silos could sustain alone.
